Our Mission

Autumn Laurel is an Appalachian home and ritual brand rooted in the Blue Ridge and shaped by the heritage of Virginia and the mountain South.

We craft candles, scents, and home goods that slow the moment, reconnect people to place and season, and restore the quiet rituals that make a house feel like home.

Our name comes from the mountain laurel that grows wild across the Appalachian hillsides. For generations, these hardy evergreens were left standing near homesteads and along mountain paths—quiet markers of belonging, resilience, and rootedness in the land.

Inspired by those landscapes and the layered stories of Virginia—from Tidewater shores to Blue Ridge ridgelines—each Autumn Laurel piece is made with thoughtful design, grounded craft, and the belief that simple rituals, like lighting a candle at dusk, can carry the stories of where we come from.
