About Autumn Laurel

Hello and welcome to Autumn Laurel.  My name is Laura and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance!

Autumn Laurel was birthed out of the desire to connect my heart and soul to everyday experiences.  However, recognizing  that this went beyond my own personal endeavors, I saw opportunity to help others also connect their whole being through intentional living and moments of simple experiences.

Personally, this was not an overnight process, to process, as it took years for me to embrace my roles as creator, thinker, and seeker of quiet beauty.

By day, I guide students as a Management Professor; by night, I pour wax, curate products for the body and home, and intentionally embrace moments of peace through my work. My journey has been shaped by two master's degrees—one in Professional Counseling, where I learned the power of listening, and one in Business Administration, where I mastered the art of building something meaningful through process and strategy.

Even still, my true education has come from life itself. As a wife to a US Veteran, mother of a neurospicy ten-year old, and pack leader to two dogs and two cats, I have learned the delicate balance between strength and surrender. My precious family resides in the mountains of Southwestern Virginia, where the rhythm of the seasons reminds me to slow down, breathe deeply, and savor the romance of everyday life. Whether it is driving my Jeep along the winding roads of the Blue Ridge Parkway, or breathing in the scent of fallen leaves, these are the inspirations behind Autumn Laurel.

This brand is more than candles and soul care; it is an invitation to step away from the noise, to embrace the art of slow living, and to create space for self-care. It is for those who crave a deep exhale at the end of the day, who find solace in the flicker of candlelight or the quiet act of simply stopping and being.

At Autumn Laurel, I believe life is a romance—full of depth, mystery, and beauty waiting to be discovered. My hope is that every product I create brings a moment of peace, a touch of warmth, and a reminder that you are worthy of the care you so freely give to others.
