We are a small, hands-on operation and we take customer care seriously. If something is not right, we want to know — and we will make it right.

Shipping
How long does processing take?
Because our candles are hand-poured in small batches, orders typically process within 3–5 business days. During peak seasons or after events, processing times may extend slightly. We will always communicate any delays.
How long does shipping take?
Once your order ships, standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number by email when your order is on its way.
Do you ship outside the United States?
We currently ship within the United States only. We hope to expand this in the future.
My order says delivered but I have not received it. What do I do?
Please check with neighbors and around your property first. If your package is still missing after 48 hours, contact us at hello@autumnlaurel.com and we will work with you to resolve it.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We want you to love what you ordered. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@autumnlaurel.com. We handle returns and exchanges on a case-by-case basis and will always do our best to make things right.
My candle arrived damaged. What do I do?
We are so sorry — please take a photo of the damage and email it to us at hello@autumnlaurel.com within 7 days of delivery. We will send a replacement or issue a refund promptly.
Can I exchange a scent?
If your candle is unused and in its original condition, reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate an exchange. Contact us at hello@autumnlaurel.com before sending anything back.
Products & Candle Care
What wax do you use?
All Autumn Laurel candles are hand-poured in apricot coconut wax — a premium, predominantly plant-based blend chosen for its clean burn, superior scent throw, and smooth finish. Learn more about why we use apricot coconut wax →
How do I care for my candle?
Trim your wick to ¼ inch before every burn. Allow your candle to reach a full melt pool on the first burn to prevent tunneling. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep away from drafts, children, and pets. Read our full candle care guide →
How do I use wax melts?
Place one or two wax melt cubes in a wax warmer and enjoy. Never use water and never leave a warmer unattended. Read our full wax melt care guide →
Are your candles safe for pets?
Apricot coconut wax burns cleaner than most wax types, producing minimal soot and fewer airborne particles. However, some fragrance oils can be irritating to pets — particularly cats, who are sensitive to certain essential oils. We recommend burning candles in well-ventilated spaces and monitoring your pets. If you have concerns about a specific scent, reach out and we can share the fragrance components.
Are your products vegan?
Our candles and wax melts are made from plant-based wax and contain no animal-derived ingredients beyond the trace food-grade stabilizer present in our wax blend. Our foaming hand soaps and whipped sugar scrubs are formulated without animal-derived ingredients.
Orders & Account
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us at hello@autumnlaurel.com as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to accommodate changes before your order enters processing.
I entered the wrong shipping address. What do I do?
Contact us immediately at hello@autumnlaurel.com. If your order has not yet shipped we can update the address. Once an order has shipped we are unable to redirect it.
Do you offer gift wrapping or personalized notes?
We love gifting our candles. If you would like a personalized note included with your order, add your message in the order notes at checkout and we will hand-write it for you at no additional charge.
Wholesale
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes. We love partnering with retailers, boutiques, gift shops, and wellness spaces that share our values. We offer low minimum order quantities and support our wholesale partners with marketing materials and product descriptions. Learn more and apply for wholesale →

You can shop Autumn Laurel candles in person at Junction 245 Marketplace in Buena Vista, Virginia — a cooperative artisan market inside the Virginia Innovation Accelerator.
